Saturday morning and the very few staff available were working really hard trying to keep the shelves full. I gather a number of staff were off sick. No sprouts, asked if there were any in store room. Very helpful young man Steve - had a look and checked his computer to say sorry doesn’t appear to have had a delivery. Manager full of apologies ( also filling shelves ) . Never mind , I carried on shopping and then whilst at far end of store Steve appeared with a box of sprouts and a bag to put some in, that’s WHY I shop at at Waitrose . Very impressive. I did hunt out the manager - still filling shelves to thank him,
