Easter Opening Hours at Tesco UK

To help you plan your shopping trips over the Easter weekend, Tesco UK has outlined its holiday hours. Here's a guide to their Easter opening times:

  • Good Friday, 18th April: Most large Tesco stores across England, Wales, and the Isle of Man will be open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. All large stores in Scotland and Northern Ireland will operate with their usual hours
  • Easter Saturday, 19th April: All Tesco stores will trade with their normal Saturday hours
  • Easter Sunday, 20th April: Larger Tesco superstores (over 280 square meters) will be closed in England, Wales, and the Isle of Man due to Sunday trading laws. However, smaller Express stores can remain open as usual. In Scotland, larger stores will also be open
  • Easter Monday, 21st April: Most large Tesco stores in England, Wales, and the Isle of Man will be open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Larger stores in Northern Ireland will be open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and those in Scotland will operate from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM

I visited the Tesco Port Glasgow store with my son on Saturday 2/4/22 fir the first time .I was very impressed by the layout and stock in store .Plenty space to move around and well laid out .All staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful .One person in particular I would like thank is Rachael who was at the self serve tills that evening .My son was having problems with the Tesco clubcard app not working at the checkout .( Apparently this happens as lot ....( Possibly a glitch in app ?) Rachael dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently .She was very pleasant , patient and helpful .
