Tesco’s opening hours during the festive season will differ depending on the location, with all stores and petrol stations remaining closed on Christmas Day.
Tesco Extras and Superstores will operate from 9am to 7pm on Christmas Eve.
On Boxing Day, Extras and Superstores will be open from 9am to 6pm, while most Express stores will trade from 9am to 7pm.

Very disappointed in freezer section. Various wires dangling, in many places. Products I wanted to buy were not available. Whole sections were totally empty. In one place the plastic trim was bound with brown parcel tape! So disappointed. In fact I had made a special journey there assuming I would have a good choice of products. Wrong! The whole area gives the look of being totally neglected. I will not be visiting this store again. For a much wider choice and in better condition, I will be visiting Sainsburys. Very disappointed. The store I visited was the large Superstore in Camborne.
