Tesco’s opening hours during the festive season will differ depending on the location, with all stores and petrol stations remaining closed on Christmas Day.
Tesco Extras and Superstores will operate from 9am to 7pm on Christmas Eve.
On Boxing Day, Extras and Superstores will be open from 9am to 6pm, while most Express stores will trade from 9am to 7pm.
Normal opening hours will resume across Tesco stores between 27th and 30th December.
On New Year’s Eve, Extras and Superstores will open from 5am to 7pm, and local stores will trade from 6am to 10pm.
For New Year’s Day, Superstores will operate from 8am to 6pm, with most Express stores open from 8am to 10pm, although larger Express locations may close earlier.
