was v disappointed yesterday to find that you no longer provide cardboard boxes as an alternative to plastic bags for carrying purchases home. The main reason I come to this store is because up to now you do (unlike the Matlock store which is actually more convenient).I enquired and was told it was a fire hazard. A surprising answer and wonder if the fire brigade told you that or you just 'thought' it. More of a fire hazard than the book stall or dried goods area? Experience must tell you how many are used each day - just put that number out. Leave them near each check out instead of piling them up. Did anyone give a more creative solution a thought?

I do all my main supermarket shopping here. However, I am gluten and dairy intolerant (as well as some other things too long a list to mention!). I really like Warbarton's seeded wraps but whatever time of day I do my shopping there are hardly ever any left on the shelves. There are, however, Sainsubury's own brand which I don't like as much and, I think, contain yeast which I can't tolerate.
