Matalan is a British fashion and homeware retailer established in 1985. It's operating over 220 stores across the UK, mainly in out of town locations, which is the winning concept the founder John Hargreaves discovered during his trip to America. Average Matalan store is divided into multiple departments selling women's, men's and children's clothing as well as homeware, basic furniture, shoes and small accessories. Matalan is the original British answer to dozens of foreign fashion brands which recently popped in the High Streets and is making British people happy for over 40 years.
