Aldi officially opened the doors to its first store in Buckingham today at 8:00am, with the help of a local scout group.
Aldi, which prides itself on supporting local community initiatives, donated a large cheque to the 3rd Buckingham Scout Group at the grand opening this morning.
The new store, on Osier Way, has created 45 jobs in the area, providing a range of opportunities for local people. More information on all store roles can be found online.
The new store is served by over 160 car parking spaces and features around 1,600 product lines, where customers can expect to find a wide range a high quality produce at everyday low prices.
Aldi updates its “Specialbuys” every Thursday and Sunday, offering customers fantastic savings on a range of electrical and household goods. This week’s reduced “Specialbuys” include: Rapid Vacuum Cleaner (£99.99), Steam Mop (£19.99) and HD Action Camcorder (£69.99).
Aldi Store Manager, Anita Harrison, said: “My team and I have really enjoyed welcoming the community to our first store in Buckingham and the turn-out has been fantastic! We hope customers in the region will enjoy our quality products at everyday low prices.
“We are proud to be supporting the 3rd Buckingham Scout Group as part of our community engagement initiative and hope the funds go towards their on-going activities.”
