Visited The Chain Runner for the first time tonight and wasn't very impressed with the service which was very slow and we had to keep asking for our food, or the Quality of the Carvery , the meats were ok but the roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings were tasteless. The only thing I saw getting put out fresh in the approx three quarters of an hour while we waited on and ate our starter were peas. Nothing else was fresh. Needles to say I wont be recommending or having the Carvery again if I decide to come back. Its a shame as we have been looking forward to trying the new place. Maybe third attempt wasnt lucky at trying to get a table here tonight.
