Whilst visiting from my home in Bristol I collected my mother aged 93 for a"treat"to visit the"new"Lidl last Saturday near to her home. I was pleased to find a space in the Lidl car park right opposite the front door of the store, next to the trolley park so that I could help her into the store. She only had the strength for 20 minutes and shopping worth £16 as she could stay on her legs no longer. I say all this so that you know I was focussed on her needs and saw no sign to say that Lidl only provide for 10 minutes free parking. As I shop in many Lidl stores around the country I had no idea that this new store in West Wickham should intend to make shopping such an unpleasant experience so that on my return home today I face a £90 charge in the post for parking at Lidl West Wickham. If this store is intent to make shoppers suffer from visiting the store you could at least make sure there is large and obvious signing on the door and at the till . It will leave a bitter taste in my mouth for many months.
