I had a lovely catch up with a friend at Costa Coffee but was sent a parking fee for £70 about 1 week later! The fee was the carpark company that apparently manages the carpark 'Parking Eye'. I had been to Costa Coffee before (about 1 month ago) and no carpark fee was in place. It was not obvious to me that there was a carpark fee in place now. Perhaps Costa Coffee could put some signage about this or put it on their webpage!
