Automation is great, but 4 weeks to get an appointment with a personal banker is ridiculous.I have tried all Ilford branches, with the same scenario. As a lay person this would suggest that more personal bankers are needed. especially as most things can be dealt with online or over the phone. so those wanting to actually speak to a human face to face are discriminated against. the only other option is taking a day off work and sitting and waiting for an appointment. These appointments book up very early and if you leave the site to grab a coffee or water you loose your appointment. Very unhelpful for people who have been advised by the online team to go to branch and show the paperwork.
