For the 4 years I have been doing my weekly shop at Aldi Wollaston stourbridge, I spend £80-£100 per week and I've always been happy, however my husband and son who is 17 went to do our weekly shop today ,in our weekly shop there was 2 bottles of red wine, at the checkout my husband was asked by the cashier to provide ID for our son to prove he was 18, and if he couldn't she couldn't serve my husband with the 2 bottles of red wine with our weekly shop of around £80. My husband was so angry he said he didn't want any of the shopping and walked out of the store. 10 minutes later my husband did our weekly shop at sainsburys along with 2 bottles of red wine along with our 17 year old son and never got asked for any ID. We are so disappointed with Aldi and we will not be returning to do our weekly shop ever again.
